I Used my Vacation to be Productive
Vacations are not always used for taking trips; I took a vacation this week, actually both my husband and I took a vacation this week. We really had no plans for this week, but sometimes you just need some you time away from the job. Our Anniversary is Wed June 14th, so what better time to take one and get some things done around the house. I was able to get some things done that I have needed to do for a while and somethings that were not on my list.
I was able to make some of my Lavender bath salt and I also made lots of different salt scrub samples. Although that was by accident, I was supposed to be making sugar scrubs, but when you are multitasking and not paying attention, you get what you get. But all is good and they turned out great, now to attach my business cards and hand them out.
I also decided today, that I was tired of looking at the many trees and shrubs I had in my front and back yard. I decide that today was the day for them to go away, so I spent the morning cutting trees, tree limbs, and shrubs that were annoying me. You never know how much strength you have until, you really want something gone and don’t have the proper tools. But I made it work with what I had and I am very proud of the final results, although I still have a little touch up to do.
Next project to get done before my vacation is over is to minimize my closet and organize the linen closet. Although they cannot be seen, they give me anxiety whenever I open the closet to get something out. I have claustrophobia, so any places that feel like they are closing in on me give me anxiety. In order to eliminate that problem, I need to minimize and organize to get the situation under control. This has been a very productive week so far.
