The Struggle with Summer Tans and Foundation
If you’re like me you struggle when the seasons change and you get that summer tan. That means you have to find another shade of foundation, because your everyday foundation, is now to light for you now. Not only does the foundation make you look ashy, ghostly, and just plain ridiculous, it hits you in your wallet because it can be quite pricey. I went through my foundations last night, in hopes of finding a match so that I would not have to come out of pocket much. Out of seventeen foundations, I lucky had twelve that would work for my skin color. Not all were prefect matches, but when I mixed them with others and after I contour and use my powders, they came out as a match.
I don’t know if anyone has the same struggle as I do, but when I tan I do not get darker, I literally turn orange. This in turn blends in with my natural hair color, as well as my eyes and I look sick (at east to me I do). My face never matches the rest of my body, so I usually walk around with three different shades, My legs being the lightest, then my face, and then my arms being the darkest. After literally trying on seventeen foundations and mixing and matching them, it can do some wear and tear on your skin. Good thing I have back up, not only do I keep a larger supply of foundations, (Heck all kinds of makeup) but I keep an even larger supply of facial cleansers, masks, toners, and moisturizers. After all you have to protect your face, here are just a few that I used last night. My face was just as smooth as ever and no breakouts this morning. What makeup problems do you have with season changes? How do you deal with them?
