Our Future, is Destroying our Future.
JayLeisha McHenry, is getting ready to be 20, when she leaves the house to get in the car and drive, I lecture her about texting and driving, watching out for other drivers and being safe. I still question her about being out to late and in large crowds, because bullets don't have eyes. So even if they were not meant for you, they may be meant for you. She is home for the most part by eleven, unless she is at a late move, or working late, and then she texts me or calls me to tell me she will be late. Even though you do not have to worry about your kids because they do not hang out in the streets, you still should worry about them being out minding their own business.
Mark Griffin and I do not give her a curfew, because she is old enough to be smart about what she does and she makes very wise decisions. We raised both girls to be smart about their choices and that the decision they make could affect them for the rest of their life. But no matter what you have taught them, you still must hope and pray for the best, because this future generation seem to have no morals about their actions. But as a parent you have done your job, all you can do now is pray, that they have heard, learned, and taken what you have taught them to live theirs the right way.
